St. Ann’s P U College celebrates 150 years of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation

“The Journey of a hundred and fifty years of the Apostolic Carmel began with a single step; because of the courage of a woman, who in response to God’s call dared to take the first step”.

Thanks giving mass to mark 150 years of the Apostolic Carmel legacy and the feast of the Carmel was celebrated at the Rosario Cathedral. The management, staff and students of St. Ann’s Campus took part in the Eucharistic celebration. At the end of the mass, scapulars were blessed and distributed.

Sesquicentennial celebration of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation was held at St. Ann’s P U College on 14th July 2018. The programme began with a befitting prayer service, followed by a welcome dance.

Glimpses of Mother Veronica’s life were showcased in the form of a short skit, followed by a power point presentation.
The Principal, Sr. Marilda AC addressed the gathering and motivated the students to inculcate the values that Mother Veronica cherished, upheld and lived for.

The winners of the quiz competition held on 11th July 2018 on the “Life of Mother Veronica” were felicitated by the principal.

A get together was organized by the management for all the staff members of the St. Ann’s campus institutions on the occasion.
